LEGOLAND Water Park Dubai Ticket Price & Visitor Guide

LEGOLAND Water Park Dubai is a compact, single-level outdoor water park inside Dubai Parks and Resorts in Jebel Ali. It's the only UAE water park designed exclusively for families with children aged 2–12. A day here looks different from a visit to Aquaventure or Wild Wadi, with shorter queues (0–10 minutes on most rides), a slower pace, and attractions built around creative play as much as slides.

The park has 20+ water attractions across a single footprint you can walk end-to-end in under 5 minutes. A Water Park-only visit runs 3–5 hours. Add the adjacent LEGOLAND Theme Park on a Combo ticket and plan a full 6–8 hour day.

Tickets start at AED 295 online for the Water Park. The Combo (Water Park + Theme Park) costs just AED 60 more for an entire second park, which is almost always worth it for families with children aged 4 and above.

Navigating your way around LEGOLAND Water Park Dubai

Finding the Water Park entrance

From the Dubai Parks car park, follow the pedestrian walkway into Riverland Dubai. Walk through Riverland past the dining outlets until you see the LEGOLAND Theme Park and Water Park gates side by side. Allow 10–12 minutes from the car park. The Water Park gate is to the right of the Theme Park entrance.

Inside the park

The park operates on a single level with no multi-floor navigation. All 14 attractions, three food outlets, changing rooms, lockers, and the Cabana area are within a short walk of each other. The DUPLO toddler zone sits at one end; the slide area clusters at the other, with Build-A-Raft River running through the centre.

If you're staying on-site

LEGOLAND Hotel guests reach the Water Park via a direct walkway; allow 3–5 minutes. Lapita Hotel guests use the rear Riverland gate, then walk approximately 9 minutes to the Water Park entrance.

Plan smarter, not harder.

Measure your child's height without shoes before you arrive. If they're under 91 cm, five of 14 attractions are accessible. Knowing this before you book saves surprises at the gate.

Visitor tips

  • Start at the river, not the slides. Several slides don't operate until 30–60 minutes after the 10am opening. Build-A-Raft River and the wave pools open on time. Use the first hour there; by 10:45–11am the slide area is running.
  • Arrive Sunday to Wednesday. Queues at this park rarely exceed 10 minutes any day. But Sunday–Wednesday is noticeably calmer than weekends. UAE public holidays and school breaks are the busiest periods.
  • The Combo is almost always worth it. For AED 60 more than the Water Park-only ticket, the entire LEGOLAND Theme Park becomes your backup when children tire of water. For families with children aged 4+, this is the right ticket most of the time.
  • Book a Cabana for groups of four or more. A Cabana (AED 499) includes towels and safe storage, replacing AED 100+ in locker and towel rental fees for a group. Add guaranteed shade and a private base for the day. Walk-up availability is not always guaranteed; book in advance when possible.
  • Use the free shuttle. Taxis from Downtown cost AED 120–180 each way. The free shuttle runs from Deira, Bur Dubai, Downtown, Barsha, and The Palm. For a family of four making a return trip, the shuttle saves AED 480–720.
  • Bring a refillable water bottle. No free water dispensers exist inside the park. Bottled water costs AED 8. Food outlets will fill a refillable bottle; bring one even if it's empty at arrival.
  • Winter visitors: pack rash guards. The park has not confirmed whether pools are heated. Reviews from December to February consistently report cold water in the wave pools. A rash guard for each child solves this.

Explore LEGOLAND Water Park Dubai

Build-A-Raft River

The park's signature attraction and the only one of its kind in Dubai. Build a raft from oversized soft LEGO bricks and float approximately 300 metres through LEGO jungle scenes. No height requirement — suitable for all ages with an accompanying adult.

Joker Soaker

A multi-level interactive playground with water cannons, small slides, and a 300-gallon tipping bucket. The ground-level splash zone is open to all heights; elevated sections require 91 cm minimum.

Red Rush

The park's most thrilling family ride. A four-person raft descends a 312-foot curving track on an 11-foot half-pipe. Minimum height 107 cm.

DUPLO Splash Safari

A shallow toddler zone with four oversized DUPLO animal figures and gentle mini-slides. No height requirement; one of the few Dubai water attractions meaningfully designed for children under 3.

Splash Out

The park's tallest single slide: a 60-foot near-vertical body drop. Single-rider only, maximum weight 136 kg. Minimum height 102 cm. Check availability before visiting; intermittent maintenance closures apply.

LEGO Slide Racers

Six-lane mat racer for head-first racing. Minimum height 107 cm. Popular with children aged 6–12 for repeat competitive runs.

Know before you book your Legoland Water Park tickets

  • Height restrictions determine your child's experience. The park uses shoeless height measurements. Children under 91 cm access five of 14 attractions. Children 91–102 cm access most of the park except the taller body slides. Children 107 cm and above can access all major rides. Children 122 cm and above access every attraction including Splash 'N' Swirl.
  • The Water Park and Theme Park are separate. A LEGOLAND Water Park ticket does not include the Theme Park. A Theme Park ticket does not include the Water Park. The Combo (AED 355 online) covers both on the same day.
  • Tickets are cheaper online than at the gate. Water Park: AED 295 online (and lower) vs AED 330 at the gate. Combo: AED 355 online vs AED 395 at the gate. Children under 3 enter free with a valid photo ID.
  • Some rides close for maintenance without advance notice. Twin Chasers and Splash Out have had intermittent maintenance closures in 2026.

Best time to visit LEGOLAND Water Park in Dubai

Best season: November to March

Temperatures sit between 18–28°C, making all-day outdoor water play comfortable. This is also Dubai's peak tourist season; visit Sunday to Wednesday for lighter crowds even during this period.

LEGOLAND Water Park visiting hours

Sweet spot: October–November and March–April

The shoulder months on either side of peak season offer comfortable temperatures with noticeably fewer visitors than December to February. October and November in particular combine warm water, mild air temperatures, and lower attendance.

Summer (June–September): Manageable with preparation

Ambient temperatures reach 40–45°C. Water play keeps the heat manageable but walking between attractions at midday is intense. Arrive at 10am and plan to leave by early afternoon. The park operates year-round and does not reduce its hours in summer.

Avoid: December to January school holidays

The highest-crowd period of the year. Even with this park's consistently short queues, December to January school breaks and UAE public holidays (National Day, Eid, Christmas, New Year) bring the heaviest attendance of the year.

Accessibility

Getting to the park

The path from the general car park to the Water Park gate is flat and paved throughout. The Riverland walkway is step-free and suitable for wheelchairs, strollers, and prams. Accessibility parking is available in designated spots near the entrance at no charge — a valid permit is required.

Inside the park

All shops and restaurants are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair access to most attractions is via Q-Fast entrance ramps. Most water slides require guests to climb stairs independently and transfer themselves into the ride — a responsible helper is required for guests who need assistance with transfers.

Ride restrictions

Hard casts and immobilising leg braces are not permitted on any ride. This is not clearly stated on the park website — contact the park before booking if this applies to your group.

Ride Access Pass

Guests with non-visible disabilities can request a Ride Access Pass from Guest Services at the park entrance. This provides priority access via the Q-Fast entrance ramp on eligible attractions.

Visitng with family

LEGOLAND Water Park Dubai is built around one demographic: families with children aged 2–12. Here's what to expect by age group.

  • Toddlers under 91 cm: Five attractions are accessible — DUPLO Splash Safari, DUPLO Wave Pool, LEGO Wave Pool, Build-A-Raft River (with adult), and Build-A-Boat. Plan 2–3 hours. Children under 3 enter free with a valid photo ID. Swim diapers are required and available for purchase at the entrance.
  • Children aged 4–8: The sweet spot for this park. Most of the 14 attractions are accessible, and children in this range get full value from both parks on a Combo ticket. Plan 6–8 hours for a full day across both parks.
  • Children aged 9–12: The Water Park may feel mild for older children in this range. The Theme Park adds value with the Dragon coaster and Submarine ride. If water rides are the priority for this age group, compare with Aquaventure (105+ rides).
  • Mixed-age groups (toddlers and older children): A Cabana gives younger children a safe, shaded base while older children use the slides. The Combo ticket lets parents split time between parks if needed.
  • Pregnant visitors: Only Build-A-Raft River, Build-A-Boat, and DUPLO Splash Safari are accessible. All other attractions are off-limits.

Rules & restrictions

  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Exceptions: baby food and medically required items with a doctor's report.
  • Swimwear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal is not allowed on slides.
  • Cotton clothing is not permitted in the water.
  • Wetsuits are not allowed on slides.
  • Swim diapers are required for children under 3.
  • Hard casts and immobilising braces are not permitted on any ride.
  • Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
  • Height is measured without shoes at the Water Park.
  • Maximum weight for Splash Out: 136 kg.
  • Professional cameras (DSLRs, cinema rigs) require prior approval. Personal phones and GoPros are permitted throughout.
  • Pregnant visitors may only access Build-A-Raft River, Build-A-Boat, and DUPLO Splash Safari.
  • No re-entry to the Water Park once you have exited (confirm with Guest Services on the day).

Dress code

Allowed

Swimsuits, bikinis (side-tie styles not recommended), swim shorts, rash guards, and burkinis — provided they have no exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal ornamentation, and are not cotton-based.

Not allowed

Swimwear with exposed metal or fasteners, cotton clothing in the water, wetsuits on slides, water shoes on slides.

For toddlers

Swim diapers are required for children under 3. Available for purchase at the park entrance if needed.

Modest swimwear

Burkinis and full-coverage swimwear are permitted provided they meet the no-metal, non-cotton requirements.

Where to shop

A retail shop operates inside the Water Park selling LEGO sets, LEGOLAND-branded merchandise, and park souvenirs. It's located near the park exit, straightforward to visit on your way out without backtracking through the park. The LEGOLAND Theme Park (if on a Combo ticket) has additional retail outlets with a wider range of LEGO products.

In Riverland Dubai (5-minute walk from the Water Park gate, no re-entry ticket required), several lifestyle and retail outlets are available for browsing between parks or at the end of your day.

Where to eat

Inside the Water Park

  • Waves Bistro: The park's main sit-down option. Burgers, wraps, and salads. Mains AED 25–45. Located next to First Aid, beside the wave pool area.

Insider tips

  • Check ride status before you leave home. Twin Chasers and Splash Out have had maintenance closures in 2026 with little advance notice.
  • The Combo pays off by midday. Most families with children aged 4+ run through the Water Park's highlights in 3 hours. Having the Theme Park available from lunch onwards means your day has a second act rather than an early exit.
  • Slides don't run until ~10:45am. Gates open at 10am but several slides take 30–60 minutes to begin operating. Don't rush; use the wave pool and Build-A-Raft River first. You'll hit the slides just as queues are shortest.
  • The family pizza deal at Bricks Bites is the best value meal. Two pizzas and four drinks for AED 99. For a family of four, this is significantly cheaper than buying individual meals and works well as a shared mid-day break.
  • iCharge powerbanks are available inside. If your phone dies mid-visit, powerbank stations at Waves Bistro and Bricks Bites charge AED 5/hr (maximum AED 20/day). Useful if you're relying on your phone for photos and your e-ticket.
  • The Cabana includes towels; factor this in before renting separately. Locker (AED 45) + towel (AED 40 + AED 20 deposit) = AED 105 per group before you've bought food. A Cabana at AED 499 covers all of this for up to six people and adds shade and an air cooler.
