Mohammed Bin Rashid Library: Opening Soon

One of Dubai's most anticipated landmarks, the Mohammad Bin Rashid Library is set to open later this year. First announced in 2016, it is believed to house over 4 million books.

Consisting of a basement, ground floor, and seven floors, this Dubai library includes a 550-seater theatre, temporary and permanent exhibitions, and numerous libraries within the venue, such as Public Library, Periodicals Library, and Special Collection Library. The Mohammed Bin Rashid library also includes a centre dedicated to the preservation and conservation of books.

This library in Dubai is shaped like an open book resting on a Turkish lectern, which is typically used to hold the Qu'ran.
