Dubai Frame history

The Dubai Frame was conceptualized from architect Fernando Donis' vision in an international design competition held by ThyssenKrupp Elevator International and Dubai Municipality in 2009.

Despite facing challenges and delays during its construction phase starting in 2013, the iconic structure was built painstakingly and was finally inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on January 1, 2018, signaling its completion.

A renowned landmark today, the Dubai Frame offers visitors a unique perspective on Dubai's past, present, and future through its iconic design and interactive exhibitions.
