OliOli® opened in 2017 as Dubai's first experiential children's museum. The name combines the Hawaiian word "Oli", meaning joy, with a philosophy centred around playful discovery and lifelong learning.
The museum was created by a group of parents, educators, artists, and child development specialists who wanted to build a space where children could explore freely through hands-on experiences instead of passive observation. Inspired by leading children's museums around the world, OliOli® has since become one of Dubai's most popular family attractions.
OliOli® was founded by Rizwan Kassim and his family, who envisioned a world-class children's museum after travelling with their own children and visiting interactive museums internationally. Working alongside educators, designers, engineers, artists, and child development experts, they created a museum that blends education with imaginative play.
