The Lost Chambers Aquarium, an underwater paradise within Atlantis The Palm in Dubai, takes you into the legendary lost city of Atlantis. This unique 11-million-liter aquarium is home to over 65,000 marine creatures across 21 interconnected chambers.

Visit Ambassador Lagoon

Holding around 11 million liters of water, this lagoon is home to sharks, beautiful fish, and stingrays too. You'll find most of the marine life in Atlantis in this tank. The tank has more than 150 fish species and if you want, you can even get a chance to swim with them.

Best time to visit

Peak season vs low season: During the low season (April to September), Dubai's warmer temperatures bring in smaller crowds and shorter lines. The peak season (October to March) sees larger crowds and potentially longer wait times.

Weekdays vs Weekends: Regardless of the season, weekdays are quieter than weekends.

Closest landmark - Aquaventure Waterpark (68 meters)

Getting there

  • Metro and Tram: Take the Red Line Metro to Al Khail Station (12.5 km away), then a taxi to Palm Gateway. There, you will have to board the tram, which will drop you right outside Aquaventure Waterpark, a short one-minute walk from the Lost Chambers aquarium.
  • Monorail: The Palm Atlantis Monorail Station (9 km away) is the closest public transport stop. The journey to Aquaventure Waterpark takes about 25 minutes (every 15 minutes).
  • Bus: Routes 8, 83, F55A, or X28 take you to the Palm Jumeirah Monorail Station. From the station, take the Monorail to Aquaventure Waterpark (68 meters or a one-minute walk to the aquarium).
  • Car: Driving from Dubai International Airport takes approximately 35 minutes (24.5 km). Ample parking is available at Aquaventure Waterpark.
