  • It is mandatory to carry a passport or Emirates ID.

  • The experience is not allowed for guests aged 12 and under and 65 and above, weighing less than 30kg and more than 120, shorter than 130cm, and taller than 200cm.
  • Guests aged 13 to 18 require the consent of their parent/s in person.
  • Please notify the Sky Views staff of any disability, intellectual or physical, that would prevent you from completing the physical and mental tasks throughout the experience.
  • The experience is not accessible for pregnant women, guests with existing or recurring injuries and medical conditions that require immediate medical attention, guests under the influence of narcotics, spirits, or any other substances that impair judgment, and guests with physical or mental disorders that would not allow them to complete the physical and mental tasks asked throughout the ride.

  • Skyviews Edge Walk is a separate ticket priced at AED 499. This ticket gives you access to the Sky Views Observatory along with the Edge Walk experience on the 53rd floor. You don’t have to book separate tickets to visit the observatory.
  • The Skyviews Edgewalk ticket does not include access to the Glass Slide experience.
  • Purchase tickets between 4pm and 7pm if you want to enjoy the stunning sunset. Prices remain the same during this time. If you prefer a quieter experience, visit during off-peak hours (11am to 3pm).

Weekday vs weekend: For a quieter experience, consider visiting on a weekday between 10:30am and 3pm, or from 7pm to 9pm. If you don’t mind the crowd and want to see the sunset, consider the hours between 4pm and 6:30pm. 

Peak season vs low season: The ideal time to go on the Edgewalk is between November and March. This is also the peak tourist season, and average temperatures hover around 25 degrees Celsius. If you prefer a less crowded experience, consider visiting during the shoulder seasons of September to October. Avoid traveling during the summer months, from June to August, as temperatures can soar above 38 degrees Celsius.

How to reach Skyviews Observatory 

  • By Car: Take exit 51 or 51B off Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) towards Burj Khalifa/Downtown Dubai. Merge onto Financial Centre Road and follow the signs to Sky Views Dubai.
  • Metro: Board the Red Line of the Dubai Metro and disembark at the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station. From there, it's a brief 10-minute walk to the Address Sky View hotel, where Sky Views Dubai is located.
  • Bus: Catch bus 27 from Deira City Center bus station to Dubai Mall. A short, air-conditioned walkway connects the mall to Sky Views Dubai.

The dress code for Edge Walk Dubai is casual and comfortable. However, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Closed-toe shoes: You must wear closed-toe shoes for safety reasons. Sandals or flip-flops are not allowed.
  • Avoid loose clothing: Loose clothing can catch on objects or get caught in the harness. Opt for fitted clothing.
  • Weather-appropriate attire: Dress according to the weather conditions. If it's hot, wear light, breathable clothing. If it's cooler, bring a jacket or sweater.
  • Safety equipment: You must wear all provided safety equipment, including the harness and helmet.
  • No photography or videography: Photography or videography is not allowed during the walk.

  • Luggage: Only personal handbags are allowed upstairs. Luggage can be stored in the luggage room at the entrance lobby and picked up after the experience. 
  • Food and drink: Food and beverages are not allowed upstairs, but can be purchased inside the attraction.
