LEGOLAND® Water Park Dubai: Essential visitor info

  • Ways to visit: Single-park entry ticket for all 13 LEGO-themed rides and splash zones. No separate upgrades required to access rides, everything is included.
  • Big choice: LEGOLAND® Water Park and LEGOLAND® Dubai Theme Park are separate parks. Buying a Water Park ticket does not include Theme Park entry, and vice versa. Combo tickets cover both in one day.
  • Booking & queues: Tickets are not sold at the gate. Online booking is required. No queue-skip pass exists, and queues for popular slides run 10–20 minutes at midday.
  • When to book: Book at least 1 week ahead on weekends or during Dubai school holidays (October–January peak season). Weekdays in February–March offer shorter queues.
  • Add-ons: Cabanas can be pre-booked for shade and storage. Lockers, towel rental, and meal plans are available on-site.
  • Good to know: Open daily, 11am–8pm (last entry 8pm). Height and weight restrictions apply to some rides. Children under 3 enter free.
  • Best upgrade: If you have one full day with kids aged 2–12, the Water Park + Theme Park combo gives the best value and the most variety without rushing.

Things to know before booking LEGOLAND® Water Park Dubai tickets

  • Online booking is mandatory; tickets are not sold at the park gate. Booking at least 3–7 days in advance typically secures a 10% discount.
  • Height Requirements: Most slides require a minimum of 90–110cm. Red Rush requires 110cm. Ride operators are strict; measure your child before queuing.
  • Dress Code: Proper swimwear is required. No zippers, buckles, or metal rivets are permitted on slides. Infants and toddlers must wear swim diapers.
  • Booking window: During peak season (October–January) or public holidays, book at least one week ahead.
  • Dining: Outside food is not permitted. Budget AED 50–80 per person for on-site dining.
  • Peak vs. off-peak: February and March offer the best balance of manageable crowds and pleasant weather.
  • Combo savings: Purchasing a 2-Park Pass is often only marginally more expensive (approx. AED 60 difference) than a single-park ticket, providing significantly better overall value for a full day of entertainment.

Visiting LEGOLAND® Water Park with kids

LEGOLAND® Water Park is built specifically for kids aged 2–12; it's the only waterpark in the Middle East with this focus. You won't find towering thrill rides for adults, which is exactly the point.

  • Rides for every size: The Joker Soaker play structure and Splash Safari have no height minimums, so toddlers and older siblings can visit together without anyone being turned away.
  • Facilities: Stroller parking is available near the entrance. Baby changing rooms are located next to the main restrooms in the central zone. Quiet shaded seating areas sit alongside each splash zone.
  • Fussy eaters: Bricks Family Restaurant serves kids' meals (burger, nuggets, and juice box from AED 35). Poolside kiosks carry ice cream and fruit cups.
  • Height checks: Red Rush and Splash Out require a minimum of 110 cm. Bring a measuring tape if your child is close; marshals measure at ride entry, not the main gate.

Kids under 3 enter free. Adults without children cannot enter the park on their own; this is a family-only venue.

Plan your visit to LEGOLAND® Water Park

Tips

  • Arrive at opening (10am). The two high-demand slides, Red Rush and Splash Out, have the shortest queues in the first 45 minutes. By 11:30am, waits double.
  • Pack a small waterproof bag for sunscreen, water shoes, and a change of clothes. Most visitors underestimate how wet the Joker Soaker gets, fully soaked in minutes.
  • Water shoes are strongly recommended. The ground between ride zones gets hot by midday, particularly the path between the speed slides and the central pool.
  • Book cabanas online before your visit if visiting on a Friday or Saturday. They sell out the day before on most peak weekends.
  • The LEGO Wave Riders pool turns waves on at set intervals (roughly every 20 minutes). Check the schedule board at the park entrance for the day's wave times.
  • Build-A-Raft has the most brick variety in the morning. Stock depletes as the day goes on, early arrivals get more options for their LEGO float.
  • 4pm is the best time for repeat rides. Queues at Red Rush and Splash Out drop significantly in the last hour before close.

Rules

  • No outside food or beverages permitted (exception: baby food and medically necessary items).
  • Swimwear required for all water rides. Board shorts, rash guards, and one-piece swimsuits are all permitted. No denim, buttons, or zips allowed on any ride.
  • Height minimum of 110cm applies to Red Rush and Splash Out. Marshals enforce this at ride entry.
  • Adults cannot enter the park without a child. This is a family venue, unaccompanied adult entry is not permitted.
  • Drones and photography on rides are not allowed.
  • Glass containers are prohibited anywhere in the park.
  • Lifejackets available at the wave pool for children and non-swimmers; ask at the pool entrance.
