The views are spectacular — you see Dubai’s skyline, desert and the Arabian Gulf stretching out in all directions. The telescopes help zoom in on landmarks below, and sunset visits give gorgeous photos. • The ride up in the elevator is fast and fun — one of the world’s quickest elevators. • Once on the observation decks (124 & 125), you get panoramic 360° views indoors and outdoors, with great photo spots.

I decided to do the aquarium first as my slot for Burj Khalifa was at 5:00 PM. The aquarium was amazing with a lot of fishes, jellyfish, seahorses, crocodiles, penguins, otters, and other creatures. The best part was that I got to see the staff there feeding both crocodiles while one of the guides gave us information about the crocodiles as well as their feeding techniques. The aquarium experience was amazing, and a person can easily spend about 2 hours and more exploring everything included in the ticket. There were tickets available for snorkeling, penguin encounter, etc. too! Though I didn't do any of it, it looks absolutely fun! Coming on to Burj Khalifa, the process is decently paced from getting your tickets to heading inside where the lift to the upper floor is. Though, the queue is pretty long so having a fast track ticket will cut down half the waiting time. The view from the top was absolutely beautiful! We got to see the transition from sunset-ish sky to night lights. The fountain show from the top view was fantastic! The only thing is that there's always a big queue for the Burj Khalifa, and even with a fast track ticket, it'll cut down only half the waiting time in the regular ticket. While I was trying to shop, I also noticed that they used very dim lights, and as a person with partial night blindness, it was difficult for me to navigate the souvenir aisles in the dim light. The said souvenirs were decently priced with USD and Euro currency conversion mentioned on some of the price board. The overall experience was nice. And buying online ticket surely saved a good amount of money.

First of all it was less expensive than at the counter and dint have to wait, the entry went silky smooth. It's a must visit place for tourists especially travelling with family and kids. Beautiful setting of flowers from round the world. The emirates plane, teddy and peacock are artistic masterpieces. Enough refreshment areas and toilets.

Our experience at Motiongate was really great, we enjoyed it a lot. What impressed us the most was how well the different movies and studios were recreated; each area felt carefully designed, and true to the films they represent. Everything felt high quality, from the sets to the attractions, and you could genuinely feel the effort and attention to detail behind the park. Overall, it felt like a very polished and well-executed experience that we truly enjoyed.

Visiting The View at The Palm in December was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Dubai. I went with my wife, Bruna, and the experience exceeded every expectation, from the organization to the breathtaking views. Booking through Headout was seamless and stress-free. The tickets were easy to use, instructions were clear, and everything worked flawlessly on the day of the visit. No queues, no confusion, just smooth access and great service. Once at The View At The Palm, the experience speaks for itself. The panoramic view over Palm Jumeirah is simply stunning, especially during the day with clear skies. Seeing the island’s perfect geometry, the marinas, the turquoise sea, and Dubai’s skyline from that height is something you don’t forget. It’s elegant, well designed, and feels special without being rushed. We took our time, enjoyed the atmosphere, took incredible photos, and truly soaked it all in. It’s a perfect experience for couples, whether it’s a first visit to Dubai or a return trip. Highly recommended, both the attraction and Headout as a booking platform. We would absolutely book again.

Visitors often report long wait times on weekends or public holidays. Some rides can have 30–45 minute lines, especially in midday heat. While the atmosphere remains fun, the waits can test your patience.

Smart guest strategies:

  • Arrive right at opening (10 am) to beat the rush
  • Visit on weekdays or during off-peak seasons
  • Ride the top attractions early, break for lunch at peak hours
  • Use the wave pool or lazy river as a midday cooldown

While the food is decent, many guests find the pricing steep. AED 85 for a burger meal or AED 20 for a soft drink adds up, especially for families. Since outside food is restricted, your best option is to plan smart.

How guests save:

  • Have a big breakfast before entering
  • Share meals or snacks among your group
  • Look for All You Can Eat deals when offered
  • Bring your allowed 1L water bottle to stay hydrated

Plan ahead with these tips:

  • Review height charts before booking
  • Measure your kids at home to avoid disappointment
  • Prioritize Juha’s Lagoon and family rides for little ones
  • Ask staff about age-appropriate alternatives on site
